So my friend Scott and I decided to get together this morning. He said he’d be up at like 10 so I told him to call me cuz I know I could sleep until 3PM if given the opportunity 🙂
It’s 12, noon, and he hasn’t called me so I gave him a ring and sure enough, he was still in bed too 🙂
Anyways, I’m off to shower then we’re goin’ to IHOP! Love their rooty tooty fresh and fruity 🙂
Actually, It was another LJ user. We were discussing how some people have too much drama in their lives. I found my experience just now to be a perfect example of that….
So I was hanging out with a friend of mine that I haven’t seen in quite some time. Her friend answered her phone and told the guy who had called where they were and he showed up (This was some guy she had met a few days earlier). Only minutes after telling me and her friend that she didn’t like the guy, they’ve got their lips locked and seem pretty damn close. After that we go inside before this guy and she again says that she doesn’t like him and that she’s going to tell him to get lost (which she said she was going to do well before he got there).
At that point, I decided to leave. I said goodbye to her and her friend and quietly offered to give her a ride somewhere so she could get away from the guy, but she declined. She’s a pretty cool girl, at least she can be when she wants to be. I’d be fine if she decided she wanted to hook up with every guy in the bar and did so, but I won’t sit and watch her claim she doesnt like someone and act completely opposite. I don’t know if she was lying to me or to herself, but theres a clear indication of just what I’m NOT looking for in a woman.
Had she told me she liked the guy, I would still be sitting there, possibly buying a round of drinks! It’s a shame when a grown woman still feels the need to bring drama into her life.

Okay. I picked up a car charger for my cellphone, so I’ve been able to charge it 🙂 You can all call me again! 🙂 Radio Shack sucks balls. A cable I could get through eBay for $10 (or even at Wal-Mart) I paid $30 for… I guess thats what you get when you want it at a specific time and there’s only a radio shack between your house and work.
I got the 1GB CF card for the Canon 10D, so I can shoot over 1000 pics in medium quality. hehe… I think I’ll just shoot in high quality jpg mode (6.2 Megapixels!)…I can get about 300 pics on the card. I’ll process the pictures smaller with the computer. It’s got a DVD-R so I’ll be able to archive stuff fairly easily! Was only $150 too… Not bad.
I want to get a speedlight and remote switch for the camera next.
Still have to bring my Sony Digital8 Camcorder in for repair. (if you recall, I tripped over the tripod, smashing the camera into the ground and destroying the lens. Hopefully nothing else!)

is going great. 24 members after only 2 days and we’re starting to plan a “user meet”… Should be a lot of fun.
This is really incredible. I saw some guy ask if there was a singles community on LJ… The simple answer was no, so I went ahead and set one up. You wouldn’t believe the amount of traffic it got in the first 25 hours…. I think I had an average of a post an hour. People went nuts posting descriptions, contact info and pictures on the page. It’s very cool to see something you create being used and appreciated.
