Back around 1998 or so, I was among one of the first individuals on the Internet to broadcast myself live. At one point, I had multiple webcams running. (One at home and one at work!)
Today, live streaming has become fairly mainstream. Services like Youtube and Facebook provide live streaming capabilities, as well as ways to promote and announce the broadcast.
I’m proud to have been a part of the early adopters that embraced the technology and inspired it to become the commonality that it has, today.
Sadly, I don’t run the live cam any longer, however, if we’re friends, you just might get a notification on the social media site of the time saying that Jaypoc is broadcasting live.
