Got home around 11:30 and found that I recieved the new issue of 2600! Already read halfway through it. Was kind of dissapointed when I saw an article on the Internet services aboard the Carnival cruislines (which I just got BACK from. lol) but upon further reading, I think I got more technical information from the manager of the cafe than the article. It gave a lot of useless information and then told you how to steal the service and bill it to another guest. 2600 is usually better at chosing articles with more usefull, or at least technical information.

Last night I spent more money on accessories for my new digital camera than I did on my old digital camera…. Did that read right? Not more than I spent on accessories for the old camera, more than I spent on the camera altogether 🙂

I ordered the Canon speedlight (external flash) and a remote control for the camera. Came to almost $400 for the 2 accessories.

I was pretty annoyed as the remote is just a shutter button on a 2 1/2 foot cord. Damn thing cost $50 and I’m sure if I could find the connector I could probably make one for under $15 from parts from Radio Shack.

I’ll also bet that in a few months aftermarket ones will become available if they’re not already, but I couldn’t fnd any.

So my friend Scott and I decided to get together this morning. He said he’d be up at like 10 so I told him to call me cuz I know I could sleep until 3PM if given the opportunity 🙂

It’s 12, noon, and he hasn’t called me so I gave him a ring and sure enough, he was still in bed too 🙂

Anyways, I’m off to shower then we’re goin’ to IHOP! Love their rooty tooty fresh and fruity 🙂

Actually, It was another LJ user. We were discussing how some people have too much drama in their lives. I found my experience just now to be a perfect example of that….

So I was hanging out with a friend of mine that I haven’t seen in quite some time. Her friend answered her phone and told the guy who had called where they were and he showed up (This was some guy she had met a few days earlier). Only minutes after telling me and her friend that she didn’t like the guy, they’ve got their lips locked and seem pretty damn close. After that we go inside before this guy and she again says that she doesn’t like him and that she’s going to tell him to get lost (which she said she was going to do well before he got there).

At that point, I decided to leave. I said goodbye to her and her friend and quietly offered to give her a ride somewhere so she could get away from the guy, but she declined. She’s a pretty cool girl, at least she can be when she wants to be. I’d be fine if she decided she wanted to hook up with every guy in the bar and did so, but I won’t sit and watch her claim she doesnt like someone and act completely opposite. I don’t know if she was lying to me or to herself, but theres a clear indication of just what I’m NOT looking for in a woman.

Had she told me she liked the guy, I would still be sitting there, possibly buying a round of drinks! It’s a shame when a grown woman still feels the need to bring drama into her life.
