This is completely wrong…
But absolutely amusing!
It seems that the binder ahead of me is in contract now, so we’ll see what happens. There’s always the chance that the board will turn down the person. After all, The kid’s parents are buying the place for their son to live in, where with me, I’m actually buying my own place.
So keep your fingers crossed for me. And if I don’t get it, then it wasn’t meant to be. After all, the more time I wait, the more i’ll be able to save up and afford.
It’s started. I put down my first Binder on my own home. I found a co-op in Westbury that I like and have started the negotiations. Granted, there is one binder ahead of mine (that I know of) but if that falls through, I’m next in line and it would be really cool to have my own place. I was actually a bit shaky about it at first, but the more I think about it, the more psyched I get about it. The greatest part is that I’m buying it out. Not just dumping money into an apartment leaving me with less than I started with when I decide to leave or move up.
If you remember the days back when Apple IIgs was hot shit, then you’ll be able to appreciate the Virtual Apple. This site has an active Apple II emulator with all the roms that I can remember from Middle-school. Check it out at www.VirtualApple.com.
Also, This weekend was a blast. The renaissance faire was a lot of fun. I wanted to go dressed in medieval clothing, however after looking for a good 2 to 3 hours for my shirt, I found out that my mother tossed it. I don’t mind her tossing my clothes, especially if it had gotten stained and skanky and couldn’t be cleaned properly, but it would have been nice to tell me so I could plan ahead or get another one!! Anyways, I did get another one which I think is actually a bit nicer. I’m also going to order a brown vest to wear over the shirt (which is green)
Pictures I took at the faire can be seen here.
I think just fell asleep on the phone with me. lol
