Halloween 2003

Posted on November 1, 2003 by jaypoc

Halloween was really cool this year and it’s not over yet.

It all started at Wal-Mart! I showed up at work and walked in wearing the Duck suit and a Wal-Mart vest (Thanks to one of the assistant managers for supplying me with a 2XL vest to wear over the suit!)

For the better part of the day I wore my Rennaisance/Medieval outfit… Complete with a sword I made myself.

I grabbed a $2 sword that we sold in Wally World… All plastic… Shiny silver blade. I picked up a Bronzing kit and sponge painted the hilt of the sword gold. To top it off, I wrapped the handle with leather lacing and viola… Realistic looking sword sub $10!

Work was word as usual, though we all did have a lot of fun.

Later on, I headed out with Laura and Vinny…. Laura went wearing an original series Star Trek uniform complete with ultra tight/short skirt (heehee). Vinny didnt have a costume, so we raided Laura’s closet and pulled a purple velvet cloak and surprised Vinny when he got there with a black shirt, his black pants and the cloak. It looked great!

We went to dinner at Palmers restaurant (Excellent food and reasonably priced!) and headed back to Laura’s to hang a while…

Tonight I’m headed to my friend Jenn’s in Queens for a Haloween party… Looking foward to it…Sporting the medieval look again tonight…
