Fellow techies, We’ve all had THIS customer:
Your customer has computer problems so he cant use your service. Rather than refer him out to a PC repair shop (which is normal practice as you’re not a PC hardware/OS tech!) you offer to assist him in installing new hardware if he goes out and gets it. You offer to pay him back for the hardware and in addition, give him additional money back for the inconvenience….
… and he still has the nerve to yell at you that the customer service sucks and that I should be doing something for “the customer”
Isn’t Technical Support fun! lol
