So I’m sitting in my room as I hear sleigh bells and the Jolly Ho Ho Ho of Satan Claus… I look out my window, figuring that It’s the Fire department driving around with Santa on the roof of the firetruck, but no. It was carollers…. I think this is the first time I’ve actually seen carollers anywhere other than on TV… First I thought it was pretty cool, then my mind filled with images. Images of Hasidik (sp?) jews going door to door singing classics such as “Dreidel Dreidel Dreidel…” or even one of Mr. Sandler’s joyous Chanukah songs.

Who knows.. There’s always next year!

Anyways, To all my Non-Chanukah cellebrating friends, Merry Christmas!

So I was torn between spending my holiday bonus check on photography equipment or PC upgrades, and with only 3 GB free on my laptop (making any video or sound editing or even downloads impossible) I upgraded the laptop to a 100 GB hard drive. Got a decent deal too. Looks like CompUSA is starting to compete with online pricing, as I paid less after tax in the store than I would have at many major online retailers.

Back in the BBS days, there was a game called Tradewars. There’s a few web based games that are based on Tradewars and I have installed one of them on my site.

If you want to try it out go to the site and sign up. I wull run the game for a little while just to try it out and learn the game.

If enough people are interested, I’ll create a new world and I will notify everyone who’s interested and we can start up a game.

Got a new lens for my camera for Chanukah… Got the Canon 75mm – 300mm F3.5-5.6 IS USM lens… It’s pretty neat how the Image Stabalizer works. I have yet to get out to really play with it. I will try to utilize it this weekend if I get scheduled at the radio station, or while I’m upstate visiting Dave.

Friday, I have to try to do some holiday shopping…Yes, Chanukah started yesterday and the only present I had was my brother’s and thats only because it was a joint present bewteen me and my parents…I built him a pc. It’s a pretty sweet system considering it cost under $500

Athlon XP 2600, 512 MB DDR Ram, 128 MB nVidia GeForce MX 4000 Graphics, 80 GB SATA HDD, 2x Firewire Ports, 6x USB Ports Dual NICs, Dolby Surround Sound, Dual Layer DVD Burner… Not bad for under $500. The same system (or one comparable) would go for about $1000 in stores.

I even spent a few extra bucks and got some neon accent lighting (complimented by the large window on the side of the case.

Anyways… I need to do some shopping this weekend. Anyone have any ideas on what I can get my parents?

Okay, I have installed the Optimum Voice VOIP service and have a new phone number. The best part is, this number will be used for messing around and just goofing off. I don’t care who has the number or who calls it.

I have ideas of integrating it with my website (once I get that back up) so it should be interesting to see what I come up with.. In the meantime, feel free to give me a buzz…
