I gave them my 2 weeks, Then on the 24th, I’m going on my cruise… Hopefully to return to a job. We’ll see what happens with that. Cross your fingers for me!
What a long day! Started work at 7AM and left about 10PM…15 hours! argh! Anyways, first thing I did when I got home was to hop into the hot-tub for 20 minutes or so. The best thing I could have done. I have permission to be late for work tomorrow. I just might take advantage of that.
Another day of hell-at-work is over! It’s crazy there now that all the kids are off school. I’m thankfull that I completed all the major projects I had going on there. Now it’s all left to preparing for inventory and helping customers…
if you shop in Massapequa, NY, let me tell you something… YOU SUCK! You’re all a bunch of pigs! I had a customer’s child leave his cup on a shelf today. I was standing not 5 feet from them talking to one of my coworkers. The mother was looking RIGHT AT her son as he violently slammed the cup down on the counter and she procesed to corral him and her other children and left the department. She never even told her son to pick up the cup, or throw it in the trash which was no more than 5 steps away from them. Okay, maybe 7 in child-steps… Not one day goes by that I don’t find at least 3 half empty cups left lying on shelves, behind products, under merchandise, etc… And if I had a dollar for every time a customer picked up one or more items and tossed them somewhere other than where they got it from when they decided they didn’t want it, i’d have retired my first week at that job!
Whew! It’s been a year… Had to get that out of my system 🙂
On a happier note, I met atomicjellie today. She surprised me and showed up at work about a half hour before I left. I felt bad because things were hectic at work and I couldn’t really chat but she stuck around and we went out for coffee afterwards. She seems like a really cool girl (cute too.. too bad she’s got a b/f. lol)
Another happy note, I have an interview with the company I’ve been trying to get into for quite some time on Wednesday! Wish me luck! Give me some pointers! Cross your fingers for me because…Well, I can’t tell you now. I’ll post it by the end of the week… I HAVE A SECRET! hehe
Time to cut this short. I dissapeared from my family to check email and post this real quick. It’s passover (yes, I AM a jew Cartman!) and the whole family is over. I think I’ll go be social now 🙂
