Okay, I have installed the Optimum Voice VOIP service and have a new phone number. The best part is, this number will be used for messing around and just goofing off. I don’t care who has the number or who calls it.

I have ideas of integrating it with my website (once I get that back up) so it should be interesting to see what I come up with.. In the meantime, feel free to give me a buzz…

Searching around, I found a few companies that can make a personalized action figure. How cool would it be to have an action figure of myself. lol…. I think I want something with my head and Ken’s body so I can pick up clothing for mini-me at any toy retailer 🙂 Or should I go for a more acurate image of myself? Completely custom clothin costs big money… I can even get a talking jaypoc doll 🙂 What would “I” say though

Happy Thanksgiving everybody… May your turkey be plentifull…Unfortunately, I have to work on Thanksgiving from 2:30 PM until 11:00 PM… The good news is that I get paid Tripple-time for working on the holiday, and because I have off the day after thanksgivingm they gave me an alternative day off.. I’ll have a three-day weekend next week.

Work on Jaypoc dotCom (The server) is going great. Every night I accomplish another major task. Tonight I restored all my databases and got my sites 99% operational. Some things dont work right but in time I’ll have them sorted out.

If I have to bring the server to Jersey, I’m going to wait another week. If I can get a local host I’ll do something sooner.

Well, my website…correction, ALL of my websites are down. I havent lost the data yet, but the server that hosted them all is screwed up. I have to rebuild the thing from scratch now. Wish me luck…

Another problem, The server won’t recognise the 60 GB drive I got so I need to do some massive maintenance on it. I might even just trash my 20GB desktop PC to swap the drives and I’ll use the 60 GB for network storage at my house…

I’ll troubleshoot the server a bit more tomorrow, and if I can’t get it up and running with in a reasonable amount of time I’ll swap drives with my desktop. Hell, I havent installed anything other than Mozilla and AIM on it yet so I might as well. Maybe even install a server OS on it and make a domain controller/file server out of it. I’ve been dying to try out Windows Server 2003 anyways 🙂

Now, just deciding between Redhat 9, Fedora 3 or Free BSD for the server itself… Any suggestions?
