I’ve gotten much more tolerable with Dell support, however they still managed to piss me off. I asked them about a problem I’ve been having with studdering video and their response was, The system doesn’t perform well with the battery. Use the A/C adapter….
…If I could have it in one location, plugged in all the time, I would have bought a desktop. Not a laptop!
and I would NOT have spent $3k on it either! I had a MUCH slower/underpowered laptop run full screen video perfectly. Why should this workhorse not be able to play a friggen quicktime movie!
Dell support blows. I would say about 10% of their techs actually know what they’re doing!
