Why me?
It must be computer-fuck-up-week!
Last night I was battling the gnomes that live in my WiFi router….
Today it was the elves who manage my email. Two of my email accounts’ mail files corrupted. I couldnt open them from Pine (Unix client) or via SPOP3 as I usually do.
I had to use my Web-Mail to actually delete the leading/trailing emails and access the mailboxes. How weird!
A little annoyed…
The Flash for my digital camera came today…Achem, my $300 flash…. and the thing doesn’t work! I have to call Canon tomorrow morning. I hope it’s something stupid I’m overlooking.

Network Troubles
About 2:30 AM I decided… okay, I’ll quickly upgrade the firmware on my Wireless router.
About 5:00 AM I got the network back up and running after having to contact LinkSys support and talk to someone who barely spoke english on a Live chat session because I was too lazy to pick up the phone (not that that would have been any better)… Dunno what happened with the upgrade, but had to hard-reset then reconfigure the router. All is well though I need to add in the security options.
I’ll do that tomorrow.
