Weeeeeeeeeeeeekend

Posted on October 25, 2004 by jaypoc

It’s been a long busy weekend.

Thursday night I went out with Janice and we found ourselves scourying a theatre looking for a murderer in the first real Dungeons and Dragons game I’ve played in about 10 years. Despite us both having to work the next day, we were out till about 1:30 or so.

Friday morning I had to wake early to work for the Radio Station. Crew call was at 8:00 AM. The afternoon was spent resting and relaxing. FInished off the evening taking Haze to the vet and then going out for dinner with my parents.

Saturday I went to Great Adventure with Scotto, Liz and Scott’s cousin’s. We had a blash at fright fest, though the park was crowded as hell. We only got to go on two rides… Batman and the Scream Machine… We wanted to go on Superman, but the line was horrendous. We later heard that some people waited 4 to 5 hours to get on. Thats absurd!

Sunday I had work at 6 AM. NOT fun when you get home at 2:00 AM but after a good 2 hours of sleep I made it in. I won an MP3 player for the best Sci-Fi costume (or the only sci-fi costume) during their ‘Customer Service’ cellebration week. I got it. It’s a Creative Nomad MuVo 64mb Flash MP3 player. It’s pretty cool. Not the 30GB one I was hoping for, but it’ll do. lol….

Sunday after work… Sleep Sleep Sleep!

Sunday night, I headed to Bayville for the Haunted Firehouse. I go every year with Christina and co, though this year flooding on the south shore prevented Christina and her husband Kevin from coming out. Scott and Liz (from the night before) came along so I didnt have to go through it alone (too scary! heh). As usual, it was a great show! Can’t wait for next year!

I’m back to my regular routine….

What is your “Type”

Posted on October 22, 2004 by jaypoc

People ask me what my type is. It’s tough to answer because people I think are my type turn out not to be and people who I would never guess were my type, turn out to be. The qeustion arises, am I ready to settle down? Another question I can’t really answer. Sure, I am… if I meet someone who is my ‘Type’.

Now, How do you sample your ‘type’ without dating, meeting people, and being generally social. I imagine you have to do all these things.

So back to the first question, what is my ‘type’? What am I looking for?

Here’s my list. I’m going to make this a work-in-progress… I will update it as my views, needs and opinions change:

  • Someone I am attracted to physically
  • Someone who is self-confident
  • Someone who is self-sufficient
  • Someone who has a plan for their future
  • Someone who is sexual
  • Someone who is energetic
  • Someone who can have fun just about anywhere
  • Someone who is social
  • Someone with a good/similar sense of humor

So to answer your questions, Thats what I’m looking for. Sure, I could probably bend a bit on some of them. and they’re not required to be a friend of mine. But when you ask, what is my Type… That is what I can say for now.

I recently enrolled for access to the company’s fitness center. It’s great having access to a full featured gym. They have 2 facilities and the one I went to is nice! I’m looking foward to getting back there. I have a few pounds to take care of!

    Gas Guzzler

Posted on October 18, 2004 by jaypoc

You realize that people suck and that you’re an idiot when you do the following:

Pull into a Sunoco gas station. Hop out and swipe your credit card. Begin pumping gas. Notice gas prices are rediculous. Notice gas prices cheaper on the other pump. Notice that your on a full serve pump and the attendant never came out to help you because you started to pump yourself. Take off and refuse to sell them the full tank that you were going to because they cashed in on my stupidity.

🙂 And I thought that full serve in Nassau was dead.

    Waiting around

Posted on October 15, 2004 by jaypoc

Women! Can’t live with em and can’t put em in the woodchipper…. Least that’s what a friend of mine used to say. Quite amusing, in a disturbing sort of way… I wanted to leave around 6 to head into Queens for my friend Laura’s birthday. I was supposed to pick up Marisa on my way, but she got held up and didn’t get home until just a little while ago (I assume because I see her online but away). I’m off to queens and hopefully to pick up Marisa on the way!
