I started work at the new place today (Same Company, Same Job, New Location) and things went about as smooth as 100 grit snadpaper 🙂 I spent most of my shift waiting for our IT department to get the Internet connection up and running. Yes, I spent over 3 hours doing absolutely nothing (Because I couldn’t). The computers they have me on are running Windows NT 4 (not fun considering I came from a call center full of P4’s running XP)… It’s pretty cool though. I do (I hope) have my own cubicle (at least until they send more people over). I’ll find out tomorrow if all my stuff is left as is or is all moved around 😉 The chairs there kick ass… They look like cheap office chairs, but every piece of them can adjust, tilt or slide into just the right position!

Very happy to see this show on MTV… Those of you who have seen the “Film Festival” section of my website may have seen Kids Show… It’s offensive, morally wrong and absolutely hysterical! If you have a sick sense of humor, you have to check this show out.

Just got in from Sarah’s party. It was a lot of fun. She’s got a lot of good friends.. She got good and sloshed, as one should do on their birthday, but somehow, I don’t think that she’ll be drinking all that much for a little while 🙂

I took her friend Sarah home after the party as she was kind of on the way… Short pitstop through Jersey, no biggie… Leaving her house I found myself on a road overlooking the manhattan skylike, and while the view wasn’t the best one I’ve seen, the Chrystler Building stuck up from between the buildings, so I decided to pull over and get a few shots of it. The 300mm lens did a nice job of zooming in, but I definitely think my next investment is going to be a 2X teleconverter. I would have liked to frame it in even closer.

Anyways, It’s a good thing that I stopped, because about 3 blocks from that point i heard a weird tone/ringing sound…. It was Sarah’s cellphone. She must have dropped it between the seat and the center console when she was shuffling around… If I hadn’t stopped I probably would have been in the Lincoln tunnel where I wouldn’t have heard the ring (unless there’s coverage there) and definitely would have been more of a pain in the ass to turn around. Fortunately, I was only a few blocks from her place, so I swung back and dropped off her stuff….
