If youve been looking for me this weekemd. I was at Six Flags Great Adventure all day Saturday! The day kicked ass. Medusa and Batman have to be my rides of choice! I would have liked to check out Batman and Robin, but time didn’t allow. Fright Fest was pretty cool, but I’m exhausted!!

Oh man! What an evening! It was my grandparent’s 50th Wedding Anniversary tonight and we were cellebrating at this nice catering hall. Well, on the window was a candle, and as I was taking group pictures with the digital camera, I backed into the candle without realizing it! As I moved to another table to get a picture, everybody caught Donna, the bartender tossing water at me and the back of my pants begin to smoke. Aparently my jeans caught fire. lol..(good thing I was wearing clean underwear because I had a HUGE hole in the back of my jeans.) Well, thank god Donna was there to throw the pitcher of water on me before It was too late. Could have been a nasty burn on my butt!

I had an INTERESTING evening last night!! I had plans to go to the SBE (Society of Broadcast Engineers) meeting in NYC. They were touring the backup transmitter site for the major NY radio stations, including Z-100 and WKTU… I had to be there at 7, so I figured if I caught the 5:02 Train from Deer Park I’d get there with PLENTY of time to spare…Well, I looked at my watch at 4:54 and BOLTED out of work! The train station is only 2/3 blocks from my work, so I decided to run as fast as I could to the station!!! I discovered how out of shape I was when I couldn’t run any more and the train doors shut! (Note I was 10 feet from the train at this point!) That’s right! If I could run for 10 more feet I would have made the train but I had used my last breath!

so I walk back to work and hop in my car. I JET to the Hicksville train station to catch a 5:30 train to realize that my coworker was looking at the morning schedule when he gave me that time! The next train wasn’t till 6:35…and it was a few minutes late on that!

So I finally get into the city at about 7:30. Walk to Times Square….catch up with my friends at about 7:40. The tour had ended, but I got to see some cool stuff anyways at the end of the tour, so it wasn’t all for nothing. Also, one of the guys there gave us a tour of his workplace…The upcoming studios for CBS 880 AM! This is a NICE studio! Scheduled to be ON-AIR next weekend, so I’m looking forward to hearing that! The evening was definitely fun! Thought I am aching now. My muscles have all caught up to me….Oh man! another Friday night home 🙂

Okay! I gotta rave about this place, Stevies Pizza in Huntington, NY! He’s got the best Chicken Wing pizza I’ve EVER had! They make the pizza with BlueCheese instead of mozzerella and have bits of buffalo-style chicken on there. MMmmmm That’s good eatin’..Hey, Stevie has no clue who I am, but if you stop in, tell him that Jaypoc sent ya! He’s right across the street from the Artful Dodger (1 block over from New York Avenue.)
