Just to update everyone, I managed to get the PCTV card to work in Windows XP 🙂 Even though it’s impossible and my only solution was to BUY the new version of the software.

Pinnacle, You suck….

In fact, Your software seems more stable in Windows XP than in Windows 98 (which you do support and it was designed for)

Gotta rant about Pinnacle Systems, Inc. They make great Video Editing products but I have to say their support policies are more in the favor of their wallets than their customers….

After working in Studio (Their editing software) under Win XP I decided to install the PCTV hardware drivers so I could capture new video. The install program removed the old copy before installing the new copy, however. It didn’t reinstall Studio! It only installed the drivers and Vision (The TV tuner software)…

After talking to tech support, I was informed that even though it was working perfectly on my computer that it would not run on XP and hence they could not help me reinstall it since they dont support it on XP….

BUT IT WAS RUNNING ON XP!!!! After an upgrade from Win98 there were no problems running the Studio software, but now that their installer removed it theres no way to get it back…

PINNACLE, You suck ass!

Hopefull a letter I wrote to the Vice President will get some action. If not I’m up for suggestions on a good video capture devide from someone OTHER than Pinnacle.

Okay, Maybe it’s just me but this is rediculous. An airplane goes down 2 minutes in queens and it’s all the news can talk about. They’ve been speculating whether or not it was an act of terrorism, or just a freak airplane accident, but they keep going on and on and on and on and on and on and on….

AND THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO SAY!

They know one thing, “Little Plane went down.”

Granted the events on September 11th have everyone on edge, but it’s getting kind of annoying hearing them talk for so long about a subject they don’t have ANY information about!

Okay, This is just fucked up! I’m sittin around working on my website when 2 people IM me randomly because the came across my site (Note, The ONLY 2 ppl who IM’d me randomly). It turns out that they’re both from PA, so I jokingly offered to “hook em up”…
Well it turns out that these 2 knew eachother! What are the odds of that!!! Now if I can just get them together (despite their girl/boy-friends) i’d be set!
