Woohoo! Gotta thank my friend Becky for the idea… Rather than take out my woman to some expensive restaurant that I couldn’t afford (Hey, I’ve been unemployed since September, I’m lucky to have a girlfriend!) I cooked a big Valentines day dinner… Came out great!

1. SALAD: Fennel-Radicchio Salad
2. MAIN COURSE: Roasted Game Hen with Citrus-clove Glaze.
3. SIDE DISH: Green Beans with Warm Bacon Dressing
4. DESSERT: White Chocolate and Lime Blondies

We didn’t really care for the Radicchio lettuce, so the salad was a bomb, however the Game Hens came out PERFECT… Great flavor! Juicy and Tender! The green beans were pretty good too…. and the dessert was exquisite!!!! Basically, 2 layers of white chocolate brownie (a blondie) with strawberries and cream between em…. SOOOO good…. Oh man, Just getting over a bad case of the Stomach Flu (or something like that)…. My g/f got it first and actually got it so severe that we had to head to the hospital, but I have to say that we got decent service from the hospital… Thanks to all the docs and nurses for getting’ us in there quickly and taking’ care of my woman….

Then, of course when she got out of the hospital, I came down with it! Thank god My immune system kicks ass and with in 24 hours I was better….

Now, mom has it! Ack! Where will it stop!!!
