Sory its been a while…

Halloween was great. Went out Trick-or-Treating with Dave and Kerry! I dressed in the old Duck-Mascot costume… Did pretty good. Only one person denied me candy (some cranky old woman)…

I got Angel really good! We parked next to his house so Dave could watch without being seen. I walked up to the house in the duck suit and rang the bell. Angel opened the door and was titally blown away by the costume. “This is awesome!” he said as he grabbed a handfull of candy and gave it to me (I mean, a full hand of candy!) I tool it all into my hand, looked at it, and threw it back in his face! He jumped back a good 5 feet and slammed the door shut! At this point I pulled off the head and let him know who I was (otherwise he would have sicked tanner on me (BIG FUCKING DOG!) and that wouldn’t have been cool!

I’m sure he’ll suffer some anxiety next haloween at my expense.

Canons New One!

Posted on October 17, 2002 by jaypoc

Okay, Since I’ve started working as a photographer, I’ve gained an interest in Canon’s D60 digital camera. Priced at $2000 to $2500 I decided to wait it out a bit and perhaps get it after the holidays and after my birthday when I’d have more money.

Now, Canon has come up with an even better deal. The EOS-1Ds has more than twice the quality of the D60 with it’s impressive 11.1 Mega-pixels. It also features a true 35mm CMOS sensor so pictures taken with this camera will look identical to those taken with a 35mm film camera using the same lens. But of course there is a catch. At the ridiculous price of $13,000 ($1000 less than I paid for my CAR!) I think I’ll wait a few years before making this purchase.

Okay, I’ll give the rest of the world the quick summary. Basically, Tracey miscommunicated to me what her intentions were. when telling me “We’ll go to the coffe house when you get here if they’re not crowsded” I assumed she was talking about the coffee house. Turns out, she was referring to the club. She began to worry that she wouldn’t be able to get up close to the stage so she wanted to head straight in.

Not satisfied with the way our relationship has been going, this brought up many other issues we had, and basically things come down to that if we can’t work things out then things have to come to an end. We’re giving it a bit more time, and I’m certainly hoping that we can resolve our issues this time.

Okay, now she’s just pissing me off….

I just got off the phone with her and she’s getting pissy at me saying that she’s making every effort top spend time with me, but I’m not making any effort to spend time with her….

This, based on the fact that I don’t want to see Winger or Skid Row at Mulchahys (a club near here)…. Well, I don’t consider standing in a crowd with her spending time with her because she gets very into the show she’s at and tends to neglect me with the exception of one show we went to our first week together. I want to spend some time, just the 2 of us together, maybe getting intimate and enjoying each other’s company.

I went to meet her at the club she was seeing Winger at and met her to go to the coffee shop but SHE told me to either come see the show with here and her friend or leave and since I don’t care for the show or being a third-wheel (or making her friend feel like a third wheel) I didn’t go…..

now, we were gonna hang out tonight which I was totally looking forward to, but she had to work until 10/10:30 and she’s mad that I’m gonna go out with another friend since she’s working. Even after I told her that I’d probably be back before she gets to the show anyways.

Some nerve…. women piss me off sometimes.

Ventilation

Posted on October 5, 2002 by jaypoc

(need to vent here a bit…)

Pretty bummed out lately. I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve actually spent any quality time with Tracey. She went away on a business trip on Monday/Tuesday. I saw her late Tuesday night and I stayed over her place but she was so exhausted from the trip that we only got to talk in bed for about a half hour and then go to sleep.

Then Thursday, I got out of work late and headed to meet her for coffee before a concert she was seeing (which I had no desire to see) but when I got there, her friend pulled up and they decided to go in early even though there was still an hour to the show so I headed home.

Last night, she had off, but I already had plans with Ken, a friend of mine who I hadn’t seen in a long time and he lived around the block from where I was working so we met up for dinner.

Tonight, we were supposed to hang out and she had tickets to see Skid Row in the evening. Because I have work tomorrow, I really don’t want to go to the concert but now she’s stuck at work until 10/10:30pm and she’s going to the show straight from work.

🙁

I really hope that she’ll be off Sunday, but with my luck, I doubt it’ll happen.

Grrrr…
