Back from working for the radio station. The morning event was fin. We were working the grand opening of a bank…. Everyone was really cool. Aparently the bank manager was a fan of the station and wanted pictures taken with the crew and his staff and the DJ so it was pretty eventfull (and they supplied coffee… yay)

The second event was sooooo slooooow! We were at a high end furniture store that didnt even know we were coming. Nonetheless, we set up and stood there all day. They had a handfull of customers come by and a few of our listeners stopped by but the event was dead, so quiet, and just draining.

So now, I’m just sittin’ in bed checking email, chatting, and posting to LJ!

Doesn’t it figure things like this happen to me…. After talking to my friend who’s husband is a Tire Mechanic and telling her I shouldn’t need new tires for a few months….I walk outside this morning. Get into my car to go to work, and as I pull away, the car is riding funny and pulling to the side…. I HAD A FLAT!

My front tires are aparently completely bald ;)… Back tires seem okay.. I may just get 2 more (at $120 per tire for the ones I have now, thank god I dont need all 4… This is still nuts. I wish I had an extra rim. I would get all new tires and keep one of my existing as the spare….

Rewind to yesterday….

Went to the Dentist… Good news! No cavities… YAY (I think this is a first for me, lol)

Last night was cool. After work, a few of us went to Fridays. Was supposed to be a bunch of us, but it wound up being just me, Nicole, Karen and Elie…. Nicole went home after Fridays, but the rest of us met up at Jillians…. Was a night of drinking (woohoo), hot wings (Awww yea!), pool (We came up with some odd ways of playing), video games (DDR and skeeball!) and air hockey (I won. yay!)

This was Karen’s night so we tried to get her all drunk and messed up but I have to admit… that girl can drink…especially for someone who doesn’t drink that often…. I think she had… 1. Ultimate Lemonade, 1 Ultimate Mudslide, 2 White Russians, 1 Grasshopper and a Red Devil….. Plus sipps of all of our drinks… I dont know how she was still walking at the end of the night, but she was, and she made it back to work on only a few hours of sleep.!
