About 2:30 AM I decided… okay, I’ll quickly upgrade the firmware on my Wireless router.
About 5:00 AM I got the network back up and running after having to contact LinkSys support and talk to someone who barely spoke english on a Live chat session because I was too lazy to pick up the phone (not that that would have been any better)… Dunno what happened with the upgrade, but had to hard-reset then reconfigure the router. All is well though I need to add in the security options.
I’ll do that tomorrow.

My external linksys usb nic doesn’t work with my airport base station’s 40-bit or 128-bit WEP encryption. Tried upgrading the drivers, entering the key in hex. No luck. My hours of frustration leads me to believe they’re just incompatible.
