I posted the pictures of my living room. Check em out.

Cablevision is great when it comes to needing A/V cables and things. On my way to work I picked up two 25 foot coax cables and a short cable as well as some RCA Audio-Video cables to hook up my TVs and stuff.

After work I met up with Ken and we booked over to Home Depot to pick up a few things I needed. I grabbed a case of Wire-ties, some adapters I needed, and some long extension cords.

I set up my computer desk and started to wire my network. I set up the projector (aimed and sized the display) and hooked up the TV/DVD to it.

I hooked up all my lights so that I can turn them on and off from the lightswitches!! What a concept.

It’s the 4th evening of my being in my new place. My brother came by to help me move some stuff and to check out the place. We brought over the rest of my computer equipment and the stuff I needed to mount the PC rack in the room. I mounted all my PCs in the rack and secured it so it won’t collapse under the weight. I need to pick up some A/V cables from Cablevision to finish hooking up my TV in here and the projector in the living room.

Once I finish some more up, I’ll take some pictures and post them on the site.

So tonight was Vince’s Bachelor party, No crazy debauchery unfortunately, but it was a blast playing Paintball for the first time. The kids working the paintball arena were great too. One of the Refs arranged for us to all stop firing and approach/surround Vince, and pelt him with paintballs. I managed to stay out of the line of fire and still came home with a few bruises on my back, chest, arms and even fairly close to some unmentionable areas. I can only imagine what vince is going to look like.

Friday, I moved the bulk of my stuff from my parents house to my place… I’ll be unpacking, arranging, moving, setting up, building and organizing everything over the next week or so. Then I need to head back to get all my stuff that I left behind. Thank god I’m not in a rush or else I’d have wall-to-wall boxes of mostly stuff I don’t want or need.

The living room couch came on Friday. Of course, being alotted the time slot of 12 noon to 5 PM, they showed up at 4:45 PM… Took them less than 10 mins to bring the couch in. Pretty amazing. It looks great except one of the recliners wont lock back down, so they’re going to have a technician call me during the week to schedule a repair/replacement.

I also broke my entertainment center trying to move it 😉 I actually broke 2 screws right in half. Can you believe it! I’ll have to fix that once I clean out the room.

I also have to mount the projector and screen. So much to do!
