  I finally met this weekend. I went to hang out for the day, and I must say the day was eventfull…

  On my way there, I stopped at a “lookout” point which was really neat. I pulled out the camera and took a few random shots of the landscape, rocks, etc.. I havent reviewed the pictures yet, but I will soon and if any are decent I’ll post em.

  Met up with Sarah and we went out for starbucks. Throughout the day, we hit up Borders, Tower Records, Pearl Crafts and Wal-Mart. We almost made a stop at my favorite place on earth, Ikea, but upon realizing I was serious about bringing in the camera, Sarah chickened out I mean, come one… So? There’s a chance you’ll run into someone you know while running around Ikea, taking fucked up pictures in the many “sets” they have conveniently built for you. lol

  Though all my shopping, I picked up a book on Magic Tricks, a[nother] tripod for my cameras, and the movie Anti Trust.

  After Hibachi dinner, and a late night run to Wally world, and a few games of pool (I actually won 2/4 games!!) we closed the evening watching AntiTrust… I didn’t plan on staying as long, and wound up leaving about 2AM… Surprisingly, it took almost 2 hours to get out there and about 45 minutes to get back home

  Here’s what happens when 2 people are online at 12:30 at night drawing on Yahoo! Messenger. I have a few gripes though.

  wouldn’t let me:

  1. Draw a shark fin next to Nemo
  2. Draw a great white pouncing on Nemo
  3. Draw a couple having sex on the riverbed
  4. Drawing in a third person
  5. Fishing for Nemo

  So what do you do at 2AM? If you’ve read my journal over the past few months, then you know that I do all sorts of stuff.. like go sledding, run out for ice cream, and take photographs!

  After a friend of mine came over and convinced me to take some pics of him for his online profile, I got caught up trying to get the dog to sit still. The best shots were lost due to the flash misfiring, or my (doh!) forgetting to put the CF card back in the camera, but I got a few of our cute pooch!

  Suburban Spellunking (Part 2)

  After our adventure, we had a 1.2 mile walk back to the cars.. Walking past a Deli, Charlie used to frequent during his High School days, charlie directed me to look in the window at the bottles in the glass case at the end. It was like a scene in a movie as one bottle stood alone from the rest. They have JOLT Cola!. Finally! I saved the location on my GPS so I can get back there and pick some up later in the week.

  We continued on and stopped in at a local bar. I can only imaging what people thought as 2 guys, both dirty and sweaty, walk in carrying various bags, a lantern, kneepads, etc… I’m sure we stirred things up a bit. Even the cute bartended seemed to be content at the far end of the bar. lol. Was it us? who knows.. I tried to clean myself up a bit in the restroom, but it was no luck. I needed a shower, not a splash of water from a sink.

  After our rest we headed out. Stopped at a gas station to pick up some powerade. Since I really havent had anything to eat since lunch, I was starved, so as we passed the Bagel place (yes, it was open at almost 1 AM! nice!) I picked up a Bagel and CC.. very good! I believe it was A&S Bagels, I recommend it to anyone in the Franklin Square area.

  We finally made it back to the cars. I sped home and went directly to the Hot Tub! My whole body was (and still is now) aching, so the hot tub was sooooooooooooo nice.. I can only imagine the shape I’d be in now without it.

  Well, I’m off to work.
