Ugh! It’s been such a busy weekend! It feels so good to just lay in bed and ‘geek’ online for a bit…

Friday night was Rocky Horror… [see previous post]

Last night, I had 2 Halloween Parties to go to. I met up with Matt and we went to a friend’s party in Garden City. It was cool seeing a bunch of people who I dont see that often. I realize that I’ve lost touch with a lot of cool people.

Then Matt headed home and I met up with Liz and Scotto to go to Scott’s cousin’s party. I knew it was a ‘costume mandatory’ party, but I didn’t know that it was an ’80′s Theme’ party… Fortunately I went as the asshole…. It was a hit. The people who recognized it (and there were quite a few) were very impressed.

This morning, I had to be up early for work, so around midnight, I scrambled to find my Medieval costume… Thats what I wore to work today.. Again people got a kick out of it. I tend to be good at this costume thing. I need to keep coming up with cool costume ideas….

I was invited to see Rocky Horror again tonight. Aparently, a local playhouse runs it every weekend. I would love to check it out sometime, but I’m so exhausted…. Perhaps once I go to night shifts (and I have my saturday nights) I’ll be able to go. Anybody up for some RHPS with me?

Just got in from the city. Saw Rocky Horror Picture Show. It’s so much fun, I wish that It was more convenient because I would definitely go more often. I found it amusing that many of the “audience participation” lines that I remembered from when I first saw RHPS in the city have been expired.. Most of them were 80′s references and were replaced or just left out entirely. Well, come on… It HAS been around 10 years… Then again, I DID see RHPS at ICON a few years ago, but the sci-fi geeks knew the same outbursts that I was familiar with.

I also got to meet Patti, someone I have been speaking to online, tonight. She seems like a cool girl, and I’m sorry that we didn’t have time to hang out after the show, but I have to be at the radio station at 10 for a few events during the day. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to hang with her sometime during the week when she’s not galavanting in the city.

Now, I am going to try to get a good 4 hours of sleep. lol g’night

I continued to work on the Asshole costume. A friend of mine wants me to wear it to his Cousin’s Haloween party tomorrow night, so I decided to re-paint the helmet. It still needs a bit of work. I think I need to invest in a small power-sander… maybe a dremel tool…so I can clean up the rest of the helmet. For the most part it looks good. I sanded down and re-painted some of the rough spots though I don’t think I’ll get theresults I want…

Hey, I dont think I ever posted the actual pic of me dressed up at work

I just recieved an order I placed from Amazon. I added two games to my arsenal of boredom-fighting weaponry.

    SET and QUIDDLER!

Set is the Family Game of Visual Perception. The idea is to match up three cards that make up a “set”. By set, it means any three cards with either all the same characteristics or all different characteristics. It’s not as easy as it sounds, and can be mind boggling fun!

Quiddler is a rummy-like word-game where players attempt to build words using the cards and get the highest score possible.

Both games have online puzzles that you can play daily at SetGame.com.

So, Who’s up for a game night? :)

Been eBaying quite a bit lately. I bought a photography backdrop recently. It looks great and I cant wait to use it in some pictures. Now all I need are some lights and I’ll be set!

Anybody selling any used photography equipment?

I get out of work at 2:30. It’s almost 5:00. I’ve been sitting in bed playing on the computer for 2 hours. I’m STILL wearing my badge for work,
