Some things just don’t stick in your mind. No matter how many times you try to remember. I just saw Collateral tonight. I tend to forget the name of this movie EVERY time I tell someone about it. “I just saw… that movie with Tom Cruise.” is all that comes out of my mind. Even in this post, I had to go back and fill in the name. lol
The movie was pretty good, though I missed the ending. I figured that I had time to run to the bathroom and get back before the climactic moment, but as I returned, the action had ceased and the movie ended. Bum Grapes!!!

Just got in from seeing Bryan Adams at Jones Beach. I have to admit, I didn’t really think I’d be that into it, so I gave the tix to my parents. I almost didn’t go, but I’m so glad that I did. Though he played some of his slower ballads, most of the music was “good ol’ rock ‘n roll”!
The show was great.

The Hard Drive I ordered to replace the one that died in my PC arrived at the Melville Fed Ex office this morning around 8:15. I called FedEx to arrange to pick it up at their walk in center.
I went to FedEx and the guy couldn’t find my package. It wasn’t on hold nor did it show up in his computer under my address. I failed to bring the tracking number with me, so I headed back home and logged on to the Fed-Ex website. Called up the tracking page and sent it to the printer… The printer took 2 minutes to warm up and then spit out my confirmation page.
As I was walking out of my bedroom into the hallway, I looked down at the paper and read the top line…The word DELIVERED stood out to me… I lifted my head to notice the box sitting on the shelf in the hallway.
Aparently while I was 5 minutes away at Fed-Ex picking up my package, the Fed-Ex delivery guy had delivered the box to my house.

Here’s why I love and hate being a geek. I found a 13.5 GB HDD in one of my old computers… It seems to be in pretty good shape too. Had no problem installing XP and seems to be quicker than my old drives too
why I hate it? Have you read my prev post? I JUST bought a new drive online. LOL!

You can often save money by building your own PC, however it seems like someone “up there” wants me to have a new PC. I got a copy of “All Windows” which consists of EVERY version of Windows ever released on 2 DVDs… I’m playing around with it so I ordered a DVD-Rom drive for my desktop so I could play around with it. (Dont want to screw up my laptop. It kicks arse!)
So I went to install Windows XP and the Hard Drive crapped out! So I ordered a new HDD from newegg.com (They had a 40GB drive for $45)….
At this rate, I’ll have a new computer by the end of the month
