Last night was a blast. Met up with Scotto for happy hour at Mulchahy’s. I never realized until yesterday that mulchahy’s had an outdoor area. Plus, for happy hour, they had a huge buffet featuring burgers, hot dogs, baked clams, chicken wings, ribs, etc… All free too…. I was impressed. So we hung out for a few hours and checked out the Jimmy Buffet cover band (I think their name was Parrotville or something like that. They were really good. We also engaged in an ongoing text message session with this girl named Marisol.
Backtracking a bit, Thursday, while waiting for friends to show up at Jillians, I started playing with my phone. Specifically, I began sending “Hi. Just a random text to say hi” to people with consecutive phone numbers starting above my own. I probably sent about 20 text messages to random SprintPCS numbers. Unfortunately, nobody texted me back.
Until last night 
Scott and I were getting a kick out of sending messages back and forth with some 25 year old Latino girl who wanted only to sit home on a Friday night and watch the Yankee game Personally, I think she lied about her age and probably wasn’t allowed to go out that late..lol….We texted back and forth for an hour or so and even invited her out… It was quite amusing.

But I just cant get the friggen helmet right
Take a look at the pic below. It’s pretty good, but the pastic gets very thin on the light-globe so it gets difficult to cut/work with without cracking. Had to use a hand-powered hack-saw to cut the face out and a razor knife to score the rest so I could get some detail. Still, you can’t see the other side in that picture where I cracked the whole corner. I’ll need to use putty or clay or filler of some kind to repair it and then I’ll need to paint the whole thing (or somethin like that) so you can’t see the differences.
Any suggestions/ideas?
Thinking I may need a larger globe as well to make it look more authentic too.

The one thing that kills me….
Sitting across from me at our table was one of the most attractive girls I have ever seen. Next plus… She was there with a friend, another girl (also very attractive) and no guys… They sat together the whole night. Getting up a few times, probably to visit the ladies room or maybe chat with the bride and groom….
Me, being the shy weenie I am, could not get up the courage to talk to them. I, to this moment, don’t even know their names.
These are the moments where you kick yourself in the ass for not even saying hi. Not even finding out that they’re not interested in you. It’s true what they say. You only regret the things you don’t do.

This weekend was exhausting, but it kicked ass…
My friend, Christina got married to this guy she’s been seeing for a few years now. He’’s a great guy and they had the most perfect wedding. They held the ceremony at the church, where it rained a bit but helpd off while they exited the church and rode off in their Rols-Royce limo….
Unfortunately, due to my losing part of my suit, I spent the morning at Men’s Wearhouse and missed the wedding ceremony, though I got there just in time to see them leaving and got a bunch of good pictures.
The reception was absolutely stunning. They had close to 300 guests and took up two of the biggest rooms in the Jericho Terrace for the cocktail hour and the reception. It was absolutely stunning. The food was great and everything was just perfect.
Congratulations to Christina and Kevin… Here’s to many happy years together

It’s been a few years since the whole gang gathered together at the Salty Dog for Monday-Night wings and drinking! I’m thinking of bringing the tradition back (and gonna try to get the old gang back together as much as possible)

A friend of mine complained that she feels that I’m ignoring her lately. I’m not, at least no more than I’m ignoring any other of my friends… I don’t quite know why she feels this way either.. We just went out 2 days ago. Most of my friends I only get to see once every two weeks or so (if that)…
If you read this (and you know who you are), don’t feel bad…
You’re not the only person to feel this way lately either… I had a few people check up on me cuz I havent updated my LJ in a while or haven’t called them. You’re just the only one who’s put it like you did.
