  Dell customer support is just STUPID!

  1. I used their online chat application. Chose the “Order Status” option. Kylie from Dell said, “You will need to call our 800 number at 1-800-…” WTF! Why offer an order status option if you cant access order information.

  2. I called the 800 number and an indian woman told me, “Your item will ship on Dec. 30th”. DUH! It IS Dec 30th… She insisted it would be sent tonight but would NOT send me email confirmation of this. She said maybe another dept could get me confirmation.

  3. I called Dell Small Business at the # and extension given to me by bitch Dell Home. They said the order was placed through Dell Home and I had to call them (eek!). SO! I asked politely if she could PLEEEEEASE help me as the people at Home are idiots and she looked up the item on order and confirmed that it was on back-order and would not be shipped tonight.

  All this on top of the fact that nobody at Dell told me that they were out of stock. I ordered this item from them because they had it and the actual manufacturer was out of stock! I ordered the item from DELL on the 15th. The manufacturer has been in-stock since the 20th.

  You can select a topic and it has scheduled “meetings” for that topic at a location near you. They have hundreds of cities listed! Including the county I live in (Nassau)….

  Here’s some of the meetings I joined in anticipation that they go on:
  – Geocaching
  – Photographers
  – Various Role Playing/D&D meetups.
  – Social Meetups…

  Starzz gave me a great idea! I should get a group of people together to go see the last LOTR film… We should head to the Island 16 (they have a bar) and drink every time anyone says “The Ring”! That would be great fun! and we’d all get fucked up during the movie!

  It’s a crazy world, I tell you.

  I lost my wallet a few days ago, and today, I got it back. The woman who found it (Waitress at the restaurant I left it at) wouldn’t take any money from me. I got it back with EVERYTHING in it including $10 cash, My ID, all my credit cards, Gift cards I had recieved as Chanukah presents and a PBA badge which I couldn’t replace right now if I wanted to.

  In addition to this, I saw Tracey, my ex today… It was quite uncomfortable, yet satisfying at the same time. She can still bring a smile to my face. I must have lit up when I saw her. Her parents are in from Canada and they wanted to come say hi, Even as uncomfortable as the moment was (First time I saw her in 2 months and her parents are there too) I am glad they did. Her parents are great people.

  My mind has been wandering with thoughts of my relationship status… Single now.. I was with one girl, but we werent right together, and found another girl that could be right for me, but we can’t be together. Met yet another girl who is all wrong for me and theres no desire to be together….

  So I wonder if I’m trying too hard, or not trying hard enough?

  So, the search continues…..

  So, I met the girl… She showed up a few minutes late, but as she walked up. I was impressed.. She is a very small girl. nice petit body, big brown eyes, beautiful straight hair… Very attractive, but when she opened her mouth, the fun stopped….

  We went into the restaurant and already she was bitching that she needed a seat by a TV so she could watch the Islander game. I’m not into sports, and I don’t mind women who are, but she was focused on nothing but this game all night long. She barely looked down to see if she had gotten the food she ordered.

  She didn’t seem to even give a shit that she was out with her friend, or me. You would think that if a friend was trying to set you up with someone you would at least try to talk with that person somewhat. I found that kind of rude.

  So, the search continues…. I’m still free thursday night

  How different are we in real life than online?

  A friend of mine wants to set me up with a friend of hers. Not because we have similar interests. Not because we have the same taste in movies. No, because we’re both good/sweet people and we deserve to be with people like each other….

  Is that a reason? Who knows. Anyways, I am going to meet her tonight. We talked online a bit and I didnt get any vibes from that. We’ll see what happens tonight. Kind of like a blind date, only it’ll be the three of us… a chance for me to meet her while casually hanging out with our mutual friend.

  The media has done it again… I can see it now. They’re going to take a game played by 3 people in some school in west bumblefuck and make it a huge nationwide fad.

  Jelly Bracelets, popular back in the 80’s, are coming back! Does this surprise you? a lot of 80’s are making comebacks! Now, the news is reporting on “sex games” being played with the Jelly Bracelets by kids in middle schools. Sex games are played with paper and pen too! Maybe we should ban those from schools as well. lol… Hell, I used to write out BOOBLESS on my calculator! (Type 55378008 and flip the thing upside down!)

  No doubt that with the extended coverage the media is providing, more and more people will look into these “sex games” and they just might become as widespread as the news is reporting!

  Now if you excuse me, I need to pick up a bunch of blue “sex bracelets”

  GASP! … ROFL!
