YAY! I just got a (another) large screen TV! I was so upset when my 1st one died, but this one is newer, and takes up less space (And may even be a bit bigger)

How is that you ask? This one is not in a huge wooden cabinet (In fact, it only took 2 of us to carry it out of my friend’s basement and into my house…. Unlike the old one that took two people to carny out to the curb AFTER disassembling the whole thing!

Now if I can just get it into place. I guess it would have been easier to get the old furniture OUT first

Its’ really cool…. an old coworker of mine (from the movie theatre) recognized my name on Geocaching.com….. We’re talkin’ again, reminiscing about the old days. It’s really cool to see that people you knew in the past come back around and somehow, strangely, your brought back together in a completely different scenario than before.

Isn’t it odd how life works sometimes…

I hate it when you dont check your email for 2 or 3 days and you have 982 emails in your inbox! Thats not counting my other 5 email accounts that I use for various online activities/websites.

It was dubbed the “Black Out of 2003″ from what I heard on the radio…. Even as I write this there’s some areas still affected.

I was on my way home from work when I heard Z100 go off the air. At first I thought it was my radio, but then I heard a bit of Y100 in the background and knew it meant Z100 was toast. I called up my friend Mike (as we’re both radio buffs) and told him, as he told me that everyone was out. There was no power anywhere.

This was quite a shock to me as I had been in a busy Wal-Mart not minutes before and everything was fine and dandy. (Well, More fine than dandy)…. I got home and sure enough, no power…. Nothing!… lights were out… Civilians were in the intersections directing traffic. People were out in front of their shops TRYING to use their cell phones….

My girlfriend was headed home from work. She was low on gas, but none of the gas stations had power, so she tried to make it to my house. Her car died around the block from me (next to a gas station. doh!)

I arrived home just before my father who had seen Tracey and picked her up. Then mom got here and soon after, mom’s friend came by…

We hung out, played Go Fish, Fluxx (cool card game), MindTrap, and BBQ’d (Thank god for Gas Stoves and BBQ’s!)

Was HOT but I finally got to sleep. Awoke at 3AM when the power came back on here…. THANK GOD! Turned on the AC and went to sleep for 2 hours to get up and help Tracey with her car.

I finally got to work a bit after 7am and was given the option of staying or leaving… having gotten so little sleep and the A/C being off in the store all night it was dark, hot as hell, and I wasn’t feeling all that great so I opted to take off… They had enough people to get what needed to be done though so I dont feel like I shafted anyone.

Anyways, Here I am… Home… Relaxing now… WHEW!

And I guess my plans to go into NYC tonight are off

Just when you think things are going well, thats when the shit hits the fan! Someone broke into my house today and took, among other things, my Laptop Computer and my Digital Camera…. Bastard took the case along with all the accessories for the laptop including the Modular CDRW and Floopy Drives, Optical Mice, an Orinoco silver wireless card and other things as well.

Okay, Just signed up for Friendster. It’s a great idea and I encourage everyone to do it, however… Don’t add anmy “friends” that you dont know in real life It defeats the purpose.

What a great day! I needed this… Last night after work, I met up with my girlfiend and her friend and we went out to the Def Leppard concert at Jones Beach. I got back around midnight and after watching a bit of TV (LOVE The new Tom Green Show!) went to sleep. I woke up today at 4PM. With my regular job working me from 7AM and my weekend job starting anywhere from 9 to 12 noon, I havent really gotten the sleep I was once acustomed to. Well, Gonna go watch some more TV and enjoy the rest I so deserve.
