Geocaching
Resource
Geocaching is is part of a
worldwide game dedicated to GPS (Global Positioning System) users.
It is sometimes referred to as GPS Stash Hunting.
The game basically involves a GPS user hiding "treasure" and publishing the
exact coordinates so other GPS users can come on a "treasure hunt" to find
it. There are geocaches all around us!

This cache is located in the beautiful Charles T Church Nature
Sanctuary.
Cache
of the Dead Bum
Currently located at N 40 40.154 / W 73 29.083
This one is tricky. Not for the beginner cacher. It will take more than a
GPS to find this one. Placed with YoshiLMT
Up and to the Left
Archived/No longer available
This was an easy cache located near Mill Pond in Bellmore. I placed this
cache along with it's owner, YoshiLMT. Unfortunately, locals had
plundered this cache a few times so we had to kill it!
Infinite Wisdom
No Longer Available
A creative and unique cache. The logbook is replaced with a bound book in
which we ask that you offer some of your wisdom in the form of a song, a
poem, a picture, advice, jokes, or anything else you can come up with.
Eventually this page will link to a site containing scans and content from
the cache.

Suburban Spelunking by YoshiLMT
Currently located at N 40 42.016 / W 73 40.325
Travel the underground searching for great treasures as YoshiLMT has
hidden a large cache (a.k.a. a 5-gallon bucket filled with goodies.) This
one can be tough if you're claustrophobic or afrid of the dark, but you'll
have a real feeling of accomplishment once you complete this cache. Want a
side-adventure? Traverse the entire way through the cache area. Guaranteed
to be something you'll talk about for years to come.
