Jaypoc dotCom

There’s not much to me that’s not covered in my blogs and the rest of this site,  but I’ll share some details here:

My given name is Jason, but most people who know me call me Jaypoc. It’s a nickname given to me years ago that combines my old BBS alias, “Apocalyptic Lord”, with my actual name. Feel free to call me by either.

I have worked professionally in the computer industry since 1995. I’ve performed several duties including (but not limited to) help-desk support representative, repair technician, system administrator, web-designer and application developer.  I am currently employed by one of the largest Media/Internet service providers in the area as a programmer/developer for their support division. I write tools and design content to assist technicians in supporting the end-users. Pretty cool huh?

I am also a part time promoter and web-photographer for Long Island Broadcasting. You’ll find me setting up, running and photographing their special events, appearances and live broadcasts. I’ve been with the company for the past ten years, and will probably continue for another ten. I get to go to so many great places and meet quite a few interesting people.

Although I’ve been fortunate enough to have made my two interests, broadcasting and computer technology into careers for myself, I also have several other interests:
